Activity Guide. Fun Guide. Explore. Whatever the name, a park district’s brochure is a valuable (and often the most popular) resource for residents searching for programs and events. It needs to be easy to read, fun, and friendly. In Glen Ellyn:
Each book is door-to-door delivered to residents (14,000+ households).
Three issues are produced per year: Winter, Spring/Summer, and Autumn.
A high priority was placed on converting from stock photography to photos from Glen Ellyn Park District programs. Today, roughly 86%-90% of the photos in the Activity Guides were taken at Park District programs, parks, events, and facilities.
